Like all signs we want to shed light on how each one is unique, and how zodiac signs are important in anime.
Nowww the why for that is simple, we can't just watch anime without noticing character personality traits. I mean that's what gets us to fall in love with our faves right?
Manga/anime authors use astrology to build up their character's personality when starting out their projects. As an author you have to think about what you want your character to represent, and how they would impact the story. Never realized this?
If you watched My Hero Academia! Kōhei Horikoshi, and the MHA team, add the character's zodiac sign whenever they take a break from the show (which is just for a few seconds). While also showing what their quirk is, they tell us more about the character by giving us these misc specs (like zodiac sign, height, likes, dislikes, etc.).

Manga/anime artists use astrology for good reasons as you can see. They realize their audience can connect with characters easier if they stay true to the zodiac, and its traits.
Since this is the month of Gemini (May 21- June 20) which rules communication, learning, short-distance travel, transportation and electronics. We would like to look into Gemini zodiac characteristics, and our fave anime Geminis!
